Well, I have officially been training for one week now, and things have been going pretty well for the most part. I have had 5 “successful” nights over the past 7 days. One of those failures was the first night (which I already wrote about). The other was because I fell asleep earlier than usually on my couch, and hadn’t set an alarm or anything as it was pretty unexpected.
Other than those two nights, everything has been going great. I’m actually surprised at how consistently I wake up to the alarm I set, as I am quite the heavy sleeper. I’ve also been very consistent with actually peeing when I do wake up. One thing I want to practice is to try and not worry about leaks when peeing. There have definitely been a few times where I worry and check to make sure I didn’t leak when peeing in the middle of the night. I need to become comfortable with the idea of possibly leaking. It’s bound to happen, and it wakes up my mind more in the middle of the night when the alarm goes off, which I don’t want to happen.
The only other thing is that I have only listened to the hypnosis file about every other night. I’ve been kind of bad with the whole “be in bed prepared to get 9 hours of sleep” portion of my training, so some nights I just go to sleep rather than spending the 20 some minutes listening to the hypnosis beforehand.
So yeah, week 1 has overall been pretty successful for me. I have a few things I want to work on a bit (always listening to the hypnosis, stop worrying about leaks), but otherwise I feel like the first week has been a promising start to my journey. I’ll likely not make another update until next week, unless something big happens. I’ll see you guys then.
